The Ranking Factory vs the old playbook

Links got you into the list.
Getting into the AI answer takes more.

Chasing backlinks and rankings was built for a list of ten blue links. AI now gives one answer that names a few businesses. The Ranking Factory builds the entity signals and evidence AI search can understand and cite — safely, inside Google's own ecosystem. That's Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — the new one, not local search.

The core difference

The old playbook (links & rankings)

  • Chases links on third-party sites Google doesn't trust
  • Risky and inconsistent — often penalised
  • Aims for a spot in the list, not the AI answer
  • AI search ignores backlinks almost entirely
  • Doesn't help AI understand your business
  • Slow, manual, and hard to prove

The Ranking Factory

  • Builds the evidence AI answers rely on — clear answers, comparisons, proof
  • Writes the page and publishes it to YOUR site — WordPress, Wix, Ghost or any webhook
  • Files the same work in your Google Drive, pointing back at your live page
  • Publishes inside Google's own ecosystem (Drive, Cloud, Blogger, GBP)
  • Submitted straight to the indexes AI search reads from
  • Tracks when AI actually names you — which engine, and when
  • Every published page recorded with its URL, so the work can be checked

Real, checkable content on the platforms Google already trusts — built to be understood and cited, not to game a ranking.

Where the work actually lands

Monitoring tools tell you an AI engine ignored you. This writes the missing piece, puts it on your own site, files the same work in your Google Drive, and then checks whether the engines changed their answer. You can open every page it made.

  1. 1

    We find what is missing

The engines are asked about your business, and the gaps are what they could not answer — a question with no clear answer anywhere, a comparison you are absent from, a claim with nothing behind it.

  2. 2

The page is written and published to YOUR site

Your domain is the strongest place for it to live, so that is where it goes first — WordPress, Wix, Ghost, or any webhook or headless CMS. Nothing is reported as published until your site hands back the address of the live page.

  3. 3

A copy is filed in your Google properties — naming your page as the original

The same work is written into your own Google Drive and Docs, and the copy names your live page as the canonical source. That is the difference between corroboration and competition: the Google copy points at your site rather than outranking it.

  4. 4

Everything is recorded, with its URL

Every page it publishes is logged with the address, the date and where it went. That is what makes the claim checkable rather than a number on a dashboard — and it is why nothing here needs you to take our word for it.

  5. 5

    The engines are asked again

The same questions, later. If an engine starts naming you, you see which one and when. If nothing moves, that is reported too — a rate that never changes is a finding, not a failure to mention.

No site connected yet? The pages are still written and handed to you as finished drafts, on your own Google Drive — the engine never quietly does nothing.

Why chasing links isn't enough anymore

AI search bypasses backlinks almost entirely

Google ignores low-trust link networks

PBNs are detectable and penalised

Links don't tell AI what your business is

A ranking in the list isn't a mention in the answer

Why The Ranking Factory wins

AI names what it understands

AI cites businesses it can back up with real, checkable information. We build exactly that — and mark it up so AI can read it.

Entity-first, not link-first

You get named when AI and Google understand who you are and what you do — not by who links to you.

Corroboration, not copies

Docs explain, Sheets hold the data, Photos prove it happened — different evidence that agrees about you, on URLs Google already crawls. Not the same article five times, and no bought links.

Proof, not promises

It records when a real AI answer cites your evidence, and separately whether each page answers the question it is shown for. Every action is logged. No fabricated numbers.

The rules changed. Your playbook should too.

The Ranking Factory builds the entity signals and evidence that help your business show up in AI answers — automatically, inside Google's ecosystem.
