Activity report
What it is
Everything that was done for one site over a period you choose, in a single report you can read or hand to somebody else.
Why it matters
If you pay someone to look after your garden and you're out all day, you come home to a tidy garden and no idea what happened. Did they spend four hours on it, or twenty minutes? Did they do the thing you actually asked for? Automation has the same problem. It works while you're not watching, which is the point of it — but it means you're trusting a tidy garden. This report is the list of what was done, so you're not. If you look after sites for clients, it's also the thing you send them at the end of the month.
What's in it
Actions taken, what was published and where, gaps found and gaps closed, how your visibility moved, and anything that needs you. Where something couldn't be measured, it says so rather than showing a zero. A zero looks like a result; "not measured" is the truth.
Spans every part of the product, which is why it lives under Reports rather than inside any one feature.
